Foster Care Online Training Australia (FCOTA)

Foster Care Online Training Australia offers convenient and relevant training courses specifically designed for carers in the out-of-home care sector.

Our purpose is to support carers and workers by providing professional development to increase knowledge and skills needed to support and care for children and young people in out-of-home-care.

Carers and workers are a valuable part of the team in caring for Australia's most vulnerable children, young people and families.

FCOTA aims to empower carers and strengthen placements through flexible, self-paced online training which meets mandatory requirements.

FCOTA's  cultural courses have been developed alongside peak Aboriginal  organisations, to ensure cultural safety of content and images. We thank the Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) and Territory families in the Northern Territory for their extensive work and input into these quality courses.

While our face to face workshops have been postponed due to social distancing requirements, we have zoom training workshops available. Please contact us for session times and dates available.
